About Us
I’m a Flint/Flushing, MI native. My first real job at the age of 15 was at Foot Action at our local mall, and so began my love affair with shoes.
I went to school at The University of Michigan, where I played wide receiver for the Football Team from 2003-2007. I lived in New York for a year after college, and then moved back to Michigan where I began my career in finance and insurance consulting. I reconnected with the woman who would later become my wife in 2013, after an eight-year hiatus from our early college fling. I proposed to her on the 50 yard line of the Michigan Football Field in a pair of Ronnie Fieg Cherry Blossoms (she, in infrared Jordan 3s), and we married in July of ’16. We live in Michigan and we have an 6 year old daughter, Lola Elle and 1 year old son, Tre.
Shoes will forever be a part of me; they are in my bones, my heart, my soul. The smell of the leather, the feel of a new set of laces, and the pristine stitching attracted me instantly, and it has somehow never gone away. You might say I’m completely obsessed, and though my wife might disagree, I still consider it healthy. This website is quite literally a combination of my blood, sweat, and tears, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed, and continue to enjoy, creating it.
I’d love to hear about your love of shoes if you’re willing to share your story with me. My non-profit, 360 Gives, is all about ensuring that no one is ever without shoes on their feet, and we accept gently used and new shoes for donations year-round. Contact us if you’d like to donate.
Thank you for shopping with us, and even just checking us out. You’ll never know how much I appreciate you sharing in my passion for kicks!
